After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune".
Do you think that there ever was a wonderful, highly advanced civilization, as described by Plato, or was Atlantis no more than a myth, a legend handed down through the generations?

legend has it that the island of atlantis was actually thira, an island among the greek archipelago. there was an advanced civilization on that island some thousands of years ago, until it erupted in a vulcano. this caused a mighty tsunami which destroyed nae only the island, but washed away many neighboring islands that were connected tae atlanta. it also washed away the advanced city of alexandria in egypt -

of course is is only speculation, but i do believe in the legendary myth of atlanta

well there has to be something in it,but folks had this awful habit of describing things in a fanciful manner,NEH "outrageous manner"i suppose thats what happens when you don't understand how something works.
